Obituary

TRAVIS L. PLEASANT, age 37, of Covington, OH, passed away Saturday July 29, 2017 at 6:00 P.M. at Kettering Medical Center, Kettering, OH. He was born April 22, 1980, in Piqua, OH to Lonnie Pleasant, Covington, OH and the late Joye Helton. He was married to Courtney Grogean.  

He is survived by five brothers & one sister-in-law: Jack & Sarah Pleasant, Piqua, OH, Bobby Pleasant, Covington, OH, Nathan Pleasant, Portland, IN, Tim King, Greenville, OH, Patrick Johnson, Dayton, OH, two Nieces: Hannah and Grace Pleasant, Piqua, OH. He was preceded in death by one brother: Treg Pleasant.

Travis graduated from Houston High School in 1998. He enjoyed working on cars and four wheelers. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.

Funeral services will be held Thursday August 3, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at MELCHER-SOWERS FUNERAL HOME, Piqua. Calling hours will be Thursday from 11-1 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Fund 6110 Executive Boulevard, Suite 1010 Rockville, MD 20852.
