Obituary

MICHAEL JOHN LARKIN, age 60, of Piqua, passed away Monday May 1, 2017 at 4:55 P.M. in his residence. He was born April 27, 1957 in Columbus, Nebraska to the late Terrance M. and Ellen J. (Steinmeyer) Larkin.

He is survived by one son: Robbie Larkin, one daughter: Alyssa Miller, Troy, OH, three step-daughters: Jennifer Shaw, KY, Jodelle Johnson, KY, Ashley Stanley, Troy, two brothers: Mark Larkin, Denver, CO, Dan Larkin, Chandler, AZ, fourteen grandchildren: Nick, Nason, Noah, Nolen, Sahara, Matthew, Shaylynn, Cheyenne, Shalayah, Justin, Sara, Tiara, Remmington, Lilly, one special friend of 17 years: Larry Coppock,, Piqua, OH and former spouse: Kimberly Larkin, Troy, OH. He was preceded in death by one brother.

Michael was a machinist for Addco and the Wood Shop in Tipp City for over 15 years. He served our Country in the U.S. Army from May 17, 1977 to October 30, 1978.
Funeral Services will be held Monday May 8, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. at MELCHER-SOWERS FUNERAL HOME, Piqua with the Rev. Gary Wagner officiating. Calling hours will be Monday from 5-7 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be Tuesday May 9, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Dayton VA Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home 646 W. High St. Piqua, OH 45356 to help defray  the cost of funeral expenses.
