ELLEN was a classmate of mine at St. Boniface Elementary School and later at Piqua (Ohio) Catholic High School and we graduated in 1950. Our class as small but very close and we had reunions almost every five years. Ellen was a gift to everyone who knew her. I will remember her as a loving child of God whose life was not always easy, but whose steadfast devotion to her God helped her to become the strong Christian soul she was. May God welcome her to the heavenly banquet prepared for her. May God comfort all those who will miss her.

Mrs. Burnside was like a mother to me when I was a child. I spent many days there having a good time with Mary and the other kids.
I now wish for her all the best as she has entered the Kingdom of Glory. My prayers and thoughts go out to the family.
