Obituary

CAROL L. CARITY, age 54, of Piqua, went home to be with the Lord on Friday March 24, 2017. She was born September 21, 1962 in Troy, OH to the late William Mikolajewski and Theresa (Curtis) Mikolajewski. She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-six years, Dale Carity.

She is also survived by two daughters & son-in-law: Amanda & Bryan Campbell, Oxford, MI, Amy Carity, Piqua, OH, five siblings: Deb Mikolajewski, Piqua, OH, Chris Mikolajewski, Englewood, OH, Bill Mikolajewski, Piqua, OH, Tim Mikolajewski, Sidney, OH, David Mikolajewski, California, three grandchildren: Brandon, Bradley and Laney.

Carol graduated from Lehman Catholic High School in 1980. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and the Covington Eagles #3998. Carol loved traveling, being outside, visiting the ocean and walking on the beach. Most importantly, Carol loved her family. She was a proud co-owner of Piqua Radiator A/C Specialist for 27 years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday March 29, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Boniface Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Thomas Bolte as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery Piqua. Calling hours will be Tuesday 6-8 P.M. at MELCHER-SOWERS FUNERAL HOME, Piqua. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 P.M at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Pink Ribbon Girls 15 South 2nd St. Tipp City, OH 45371 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude PL Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
