Obituary

BOBBY L. JACKSON, age 60, of Houston, OH, passed away at 12:30 A.M. on Wednesday September 7, 2017 at Kettering Medical Center, Kettering, OH. He was born June 7, 1957 in Piqua, OH, to the late Robert Harvey and Monnie Mae Jackson. He married Marlene (Young) Jackson May 11, 1976 in Piqua, OH. She survives.

He is also survived by three daughters & sons-in-law: Kristina & Jason Scott, Houston, OH, Amy & Brad Gilmore, Piqua, OH, Stacy & Joe Horn, Troy, OH; one son & daughter-in-law: Robert & Amy Jackson, Houston, OH; five brothers: Scotty R. Jackson, Piqua, OH, Johnny N. Jackson, Piqua, OH, Billy J. & Rhonda Jackson, Piqua, OH, Sean N. Jackson, Piqua, OH, Dustin P. Jackson, Piqua, OH; one sister: Tammy M. Jackson, Piqua, OH; ten grandchildren: Gabriel H. Gilmore, Robert A. Jackson, Jayden J. Horn, Braxton L. Horn, Elijah Horn, Paige E. Scott, Mason A. Scott, Isabella R. Scott, Morgan K. Jackson and Colton B. Jackson.

Bobby was a member of Piqua Pentecostal Church and he enjoyed working on cars, going camping, speed skating, playing pool, playing the guitar and singing, and spending time with his grandchildren and family. He was a mechanic for Paul Sherry in Piqua for 20 years.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 12, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at MELCHER-SOWERS FUNERAL HOME, Piqua, with the Rev. Gary Wagner officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 12-1 P.M. at the funeral home.
